Body&Soul, Ireland’s most beautiful midsummer festival today unveils the next wave of acts that will join Fever Ray, Chronixx, Jon Hopkins (Live), Baxter Dury and James Holden and The Animal Spirits in the verdant grounds of Ballinlough Castle.

As ever, groundbreaking music artists, immersive theatre, beautiful art installations, gastronomic experiences and indulgent wellbeing areas come together to provide a weekend that promises an unrivalled mix of arts, culture, craic and creativity, soundtracked by the very best in Irish and international talent.

Iron & Wine will join the Body&Soul stage, a master of beautifully crafted folk anthems that have bewitched audiences for more than two decades. Copenhagen experimental pop trio WhoMadeWho expound their signature genre-blending vocals, meanwhile German sound artist and producer Pantha Du Prince will bring his signature lush, spacious take on techno to the Midnight Circus.

Danish producer supergroup AV AV AV have been wowing Scandinavian clubs with their euphoric dance tracks, meanwhile Afropunk maestro Tshegue has been tipped by Vice to ‘make waves across the globe’, and Choice Award nominee Soulé wows with her floor-fillers. Alt-folk singer songwriter Riley Pearce’s haunting soundscapes have seen him tour from his native Australia to Europe and the UK, and the bewitching sound of Northern Ireland’s Lilla Vargen has garnered her listenership across the globe. Attitude and energy flow from Bitch Falcon, Pillow Queens and Barq, while the infectious sounds of O Emperor, R.S.A.G. and Bon Voyage keep the energy up while Hvmmingbyrd bring the mellow sounds and Sing Along Social turn the audience into performers.

Heading up Sunday’s Reckless in Love closing party, dancefloor favourite Mano Le Tough will be joined by labelmates The Drifter and Baikal to create an unrivalled celebration, meanwhile Friday night will see Copenhagen’s Mama Snake (who founded the Ectotherm label with Courtesy) take to the decks alongside Dublin favourites I Am The Cosmos, R. Kitt and Dream Cycles. Saturday will be hosted by Dublin’s best queer party Mother, mixing mind-blowing live performance with their trademark wild abandon.
