The People’s String Foundation
The Peoples String Foundation is a band, a collective, a writing partenership and a vision. The debut album 'Making Waves' is a concept album with various styles of Roots and Modern influences glued together with an intricate and expressive violin section. The result is the story/fable of a single wave (made from a falling leaf) and it's journey towards the sea. The Peoples String Foundation is inspired; by the people they meet, the experiences of life on the road, and the global theatre of the present day.

Tee Cardaci is a dj and producer from San Francisco, California, currently residing in Rio de Janeiro. His 20 years behind the decks have made him a master of blending all genres of funky music. He is the host of Deep & Dusted on London's, The Downlow Radio in addition to producing the monthly party, Botafogo Social Club, in Rio de Janeiro. This will be his first appearance in Ireland!
Boudoir Sessions presents Swing Brother Swing
The Boudoir Sessions will swing and sway, charm and disarm you for an afternoon of music and performance from the 1920s-1950s. So that's swing, boogie woogie, jump blues and more European influenced styles, including klezmar and gypsy jazz. With the Swell Berries (Swing Cabaret) Chill (Close Harmony and Barbershop) Aranois (Bohemian fiddler) the Boudoir Boys DJs and more quirks and meanders. Strait from the fridge, Daddy oh!

Stevie G is a well known DJ and Radio presenter from Cork. His Black on Red radio show won best weekly music radio show at the PPI National Radio awards in 2002 and is 10 years old in 2012. He has been with RedFM since their inception and does music documentaries and mixes on his nightly show plus specialist soul, jazz, reggae and hip-hop every Saturday on Black on Red. In Ireland he has held long term residencies in well known clubs is a regular on the Festival circuit and has supported big names like Massive Attack, Jay Z, Kanye West, Roy Ayers, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Chic Brass Ensemble, Fat Freddy's Drop and Aloe Blacc to name a few!
DJ Izem & Angelo Garotti
Music researcher and DJ, who combines the efficiency of digital music and the depth of original instruments, DJ iZem ignites the dancefloors with a raw fusion of urban music mixing the infectious rumba of the sound-systems made in Congo , the psychedelic rhythms of Moroccan trance, a cutting edge spirit of the London bass culture, afro percussions from North-East Brazil, ecstatic Balkan brass and sensual cumbia swings.

Tribal Spirit Drummers
Have you ever watched a performance and said to yourself I would love a chance to be up there performing. Well here it is. The Tribal Spirit team are running workshops at Body & Soul with the view of performing with as many drummers as possible on stage Sunday evening. No experience needed. Just come along to workshops on Saturday and Sunday and you can join this interactive audience event! And let your creative juices flow! For all to witness

The Ticket Presents: Booking The Cooks @ Body & Soul
The column “Booking The Cooks” in The Ticket features the culinary creations of bands, DJ’s, comedians and entertainers. It is written by The Sugar Club’s manager Oisin Davis and he’s taking it to the live arena!
On Sunday at 12pm in Casa Habana, he will stage a cook off between comedian and writer Jarlath Regan vs Leviathan satirist and Late Late Show House Band lead singer, Paddy Cullivan. Seeing as it is the second day of the festival and everyone should be feeling a little worse for wear, each of the acts will have to recreate their ultimate hangover breakfast.
Three lucky punters from the audience will get to pick which man wins. The winner gets to pick a song for the loser to sing karaoke style. Oisin will also feature a blind taste test for the audience to get involved in. The winner will receive a one night crash course in cocktail making for 12 people in The Sugar Club.
