Angie Kinsella (Forage and Forest School Workshop)

Foraging for wild food is a fantastic and fun way to experience and explore the natural world and connect with something ancient and primal within ourselves. For our distant ancestors foraging would simply have been a way of life, a necessity in fact. In recent times a huge rise of interest to regain and reconnect with this wisdom and knowledge has arisen.

Angie Kinsella of ‘Nature Way Education’ is a forest school leader, holistic therapist and yoga teacher. Angie holds a deep love of nature and weaves this into all threads of her life. Angie is a passionate wild food forager. “Even at a festival I’m constantly noticing the wild and wonderful plant friends that surround us and in the beautiful ‘Ballinlough castle’ at mid summers nature’s bounty of wild foods is certainly in abundance. During this workshop Angie will share with us how to identify, use and appreciate the lush land around us.
