The 5 Rhythms® is a movement meditation practice that contributes to physical, mental and emotional health. The rhythms are Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness. They can be practiced by anyone regardless of age, size or physical ability. Gabrielle Roth created the practice over 40 years ago through watching the different ways people moved their bodies. Her hope was that by freeing the body we could free the mind. Caitríona trained with Gabrielle 22 years ago and now teaches 5 Rhythms workshops throughout Ireland and Europe.
