Arbutus Yarns

In a glade, deep in the woods, the Arbutus Yarns Theatre is a place for the festival-weary to relax and be immersed in Irish art.

Under the canopy of the trees, this intimate, natural amphitheatre will be home to showcases of folk and trad music, theatre, spoken word, and more. Over the weekend musicians will get the opportunity to take the stage and perform along with special guests at the Arbutus Yarns Theatre Open Mic, running from 2 to 9pm each day. Following that, filmmaker Myles O’Reilly and Donal Dineen will be shooting a special Body&Soul episode of their show “This Ain’t No Disco”, filming one artist in an immersive audio-visual performance each night. Come along and be the live “studio” audience for the show. Finally, from midnight to late, the theatre will host Donal Dineen and special guests, playing his popular, acetic mix of “backstory” classics under the canopy of the trees.
