Now a well-established presence in Irish music, Inni-K (Eithne Ní Chatháin) has received consistent praise for her distinct, fresh style of contemporary-folk. Inni-K’s journey to date has been a wild and enjoyable one; she has featured on Other Voices, was requested by world renowned Malian kora master Toumani Diabaté to perform with him at Cork Opera House as well as sharing stages with Efterklang, Wallis Bird, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Glen Hansard and Tiny Ruins. She has performed for An t-Uachtarán on numerous occasions and has toured all over the world singing & playing with a contemporary dance theatre company. She has continued on with this success with February single release Edges, described by Arbutus Yarns as a track that “is rich in a soulful ambience that echoes her layered vocal abilities with a sense of awe.” Joined by drummer and percussionist Brian Walsh and double bassist Cormac O’Brien, Inni-K is a force to watch.
