King Kong Company

2016 saw King Kong Company handed the ‘Best Live Act 2016’ award from Pure M Magazine before signing a European record deal a mere week later. That same week they sold out The Academy in Dublin when more than 800 heads and KKC packed out venues all over Ireland during their Autumn tour.

All of this on foot of the Irish release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album back when they last played at Body&Soul. Never a shower to rest on their laurels, King Kong Company have taken a couple of months off from their gigging routine to work on new material and a shiny new stage show for 2017. The band will be bringing even more of their raucous and raw tunes and upping the stage antics a notch or two. This will be intense.

For all the King Kong Company crew it felt like 2016 was the year of the monkey, but it’s quite possible that 2017 might become the year of the ape. You’ve been warned!
