Sorca McGrath and Simon Cullen have long been mainstays of Dublin’s underground and independent music scene. Having routinely turned their hands to radically divergent musical projects, the last few years have seen the pair apply a greater focus to their analog synthesiser driven duo, Ships.

Following a run of highly-praised singles and EPs alongside an unprecedentedly successful crowdfunding campaign, Ships are on the cusp of releasing their hotly anticipated debut LP.

Ships deftly pick and choose tidbits of musical inspiration, sprinkling them through their dually anthemic and sensual songs. Aware of the work of their forebears while also more than willing to totally rip up the rulebook – when it comes to utterly moreish adult pop; Ships can’t be beat.
