Limerick natives Windings will be bringing their mix of folk rock music to Body&Soul Festival this June. Their fourth studio album “Be Honest and Fear Not” was recorded in three days in Donegal’s Atticus Studios with Tom McLaughlin of the Villagers. Windings’ masterful command of an array of instruments continues to impress, but also their willingness to continue on the path less traveled these days in terms of understanding the ebb and flow of a proper Long Player. Singles – including ‘Boring’ and ‘You’re Dead’ – take on a more darker tone on the album than previously seen. For long-time Windings fans, “Be Honest and Fear Not” sees one of Ireland’s most interesting bands return in a manner that we would have hoped to see and hear. For first time listeners, this will be one of the most rewarding sonic experiences of your year.
