Planting native Irish trees at Ballinlough Castle & Gardens is an ongoing initiative of the festival. 2022 will see the festival further offset festival energy use and travel emissions through Native Irish Tree Planting. The festival site is home to many flora and fauna, all of which are taken into account through tree and root protection, light restrictions and dark pockets for fauna.
