Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Some of the same strokes are used as classic massage therapy, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain in order to reach the sub-layer of muscles and the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles).

Intuitive Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions, and the recipient remains clothed during a treatment. There is constant body contact between the practitioner and client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked in order to clear energy blockages and relieve tension. Laughter Yoga

Laughter yoga is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter. Laughter yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter, done willingly, provides the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. We use African drums such as the djembe, the boogeraboo, djun djuns and other instruments such as bells & shakers. We learn celebratory and healing rhythms and chants from tribal cultures. Unleashing Your Animal Knowing

Emily Morrison is the one who has longed to experience the world’s wonders with her entire body.
