Glen Brady is the Vocalist & Producer of Post-Funk band Def Nettle who released their first three singles in 2022.
The most recent single ‘Architecture’ spent 8 weeks at #2 on German Independent Dance chart. The preceding singles; ’The Pills’ & ‘War Machine’ featuring Andy Rourke of The Smiths on Bass guitar, received extensive plays on radio around Ireland and UK and have had considerable press coverage in The Sunday Independent, The Sunday
Business Post, Hot Press, The Golden Plec as well as being featured on countless UK based Indie blogs like Rough UK & Flex Magazine. Def Nettle have
been ‘Track of the week’ on 2FM’s The Alternative, 2XM’s The London Ear & Kate Brennan Harding shows as well extensive play on Jenny Green’s 2FM
show and various stations.
The Irish Times recently included Def Nettle in the 20 ‘Bands to Watch’ in 2023.
Glen has had a storied music career that began as a DJ playing Hip-hop in 90’s Dublin. Winning the Irish leg of the DMC Mixing Championship, he went on to produce a massive volume of remixes and originals under the DJ Wool name before working for 2 decades as an Engineer and producer.
Def Nettle’s new single ‘Invisible’ comes out May 15.2023 and they are busy mixing their album due for release in October.
