FAQs

What is A.Wake? +

A.Wake is a wake.

A ceremonial and celebratory farewell to Body & Soul — the festival.

It’s a moment of closure made with care.

Not the end of Body & Soul, but the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

The gathering is entirely not for profit and capacity is limited to just 750 lucky guests.

When is A.Wake? +

Over a weekend on Saturday, August 16th and Sunday, August 17th 2025.
So two days and two nights.

Campsites close at 12 noon on Monday, August 18th.

What can I expect? +

A damn good party and a celebratory farewell.

A:Wake is a two-day celebrationl that honours the legacy of the Body & Soul Festival. We’ll take you on a journey of music, art, communal feasts and ritual, all rooted in the spirit of an Irish wake.

Is there a programme? +

An arc of experiences will shape our weekend.

Saturday is a celebration of everything we’ve created together: live music, spontaneous collaborations, immersive art, and a damn fine party.

Sunday is a space for release with soul-stirring sets, shared feasting, and collective rituals, all peppered with moments of surprise.

Will there be a lineup? +

Yes — but it’s not for show.
It’s for those who come.

A.Wake is a ritual, not a rollout.
We’ve curated a full programme of music, DJs, art, performance, feasting, dancing under the stars, and collective pause — all rooted in the spirit of an Irish wake.

But we’re not announcing it in advance.
This isn’t a festival built around names.
It’s a farewell crafted around meaning.

You’ll receive the schedule when you arrive.
No posters. No headlines. No distractions.

What we can tell you is this: The vibe will find you —
rise when it’s needed —
and it won’t let you go.

Is there a theme? +

The wider theme of life, loss and renewal punctuate the weekend. At the heart of A.Wake stands a Temple of Remembrance - a space that honours both the personal and collective. Come with something to leave behind.

Once a drop reaches capacity, it will close.

If a drop sells out before you act, you’ll automatically receive access to the next release.
